Comprehensive STD Screening
This screening panel uses your blood and urine to allow for a convenient, confidential and trouble-free way to find out if you or your partner have been exposed to HIV or another sexually transmitted disease/infections (STD/STI). Just being exposed may not mean you have an active infection, but if you are infected you may not have any symptoms. So without symptoms you still are at risk of transmitting this disease to a sexual partner. Early detection can also prevent further development of more serious medical problems. STD's/STI's are one of the most common causes of infertility in women. The Center for Disease Control advises that everyone ages 13 thur 64 be initially tested to determine their baseline status. The tests included in this panel are: Syphilis(RPR), HIV 1/2 Antibody, Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2 Specific Antibodies, IgG, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea and the Acute Hepatitis Panel.
