All blood testing ordered through Personalabs is fulfilled by Labcorp — one of the two largest clinical laboratory networks in the United States. Labcorp holds CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) certification, which is the federal quality standard for all clinical laboratory testing in the US.
Labcorp operates over 4,000 patient service centers nationwide. When you order through Personalabs you visit any Labcorp location near you for your blood draw.
About Physician Authorization
Under direct-to-consumer lab testing laws that vary by state, a physician order is required before a clinical laboratory can process a blood test. Personalabs satisfies this requirement through our licensed physician network.
When you place an order:
1. Your order is reviewed by a licensed physician
in your state
2. The physician issues a lab requisition — the
official order Labcorp requires to process your test
3. You take that requisition to any Labcorp location
4. Your results are delivered to your private
secure account within 24 to 48 hours
This process provides full medical oversight while eliminating the need for a separate doctor’s appointment.
Privacy & Data Security
All patient data is handled in compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Your test results are delivered to your private encrypted portal. Results are never shared with insurance companies, employers, or third parties
without your explicit written consent.
